I found Paul Hong's short story in Broken Pencil magazine and felt that it would be a great story to illustrate.
The premise is that a jaded Superman is contemplating an early retirement. He wants to walk away from it all and join modern society. Over a coffee, one of his good friends tries to persuade him into not giving up.

This is a series of events that revolved around a visit between two brothers. Each brother happens to be going through his own personal turmoil, but as brothers they are there for each other.

This was a difficult project to illustrate, because without text the story could've been interpretted differently.
